Transportation
Helping You Get Where You Need to Go
At Mustard Seed Ministries, we understand that transportation can be a major barrier to stability. Whether it’s getting to work, a medical appointment, or picking up groceries, reliable transportation is essential for daily life. Our Transportation Program helps individuals and families overcome that obstacle so they can stay on track toward self-sufficiency and well-being.
How Our Transportation Program Works
Through community partnerships and our outreach efforts, we assist with transportation needs on a case-by-case basis. This may include providing rides, coordinating vehicle repairs, or helping connect individuals with public transit solutions. For those receiving furniture or goods from our thrift stores, we also offer scheduled pick-up and delivery services.
Additionally, eligible clients may apply for gas assistance for medical appointments outside of St. Lucie County or for new employment (must have started within the last 7–10 days). When funding is available, clients can bring their vehicle to our campus—we’re located next to a gas station, and our team will fill the tank onsite.
We Offer
- Transportation for Medical Appointments
- Limited Ride Assistance for Work or Services
- Coordination with Local Transit Resources
- Help with Essential Errands (case-by-case)
- Furniture Pick-Up & Delivery from Thrift Stores
- Gas Assistance for Medical Appointments or New Employment (when funding is available)
How We Can Help
Getting from place to place shouldn’t stand in the way of stability. Mustard Seed Ministries offers transportation assistance to help individuals reach medical appointments, work, and essential services—making everyday life a little more manageable during difficult times.
