Join Us in Making a Difference!
Our events bring people together to serve, support, and uplift those in need. Whether it’s a food drive, volunteer day, or special fundraiser, we invite you to be part of the mission.
Those events include:
- A Thanksgiving Day gathering to serve traditional hot Thanksgiving meals to anyone who wants one (about 1,800 served in 2025)
- Annual tea party
We are always looking for ways to create new events, so check this page and our social media periodically for updates and announcements.
Everyone welcome at our 37th Annual Thanksgiving Feast
Every year, Mustard Seed holds a community get-together on Thanksgiving Day, with volunteers serving free hot Thanksgiving meals to anyone who shows up. In 2025, we served about 1,800 meals, and we expect to serve about 2,000 this year.
Meals typically include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and other traditional Thanksgiving favorites, including pie.
We rely heavily on volunteers to prepare and serve the food, so if you can help us out, please fill out this brief form and we will look forward to working with you. It will be a busy morning or afternoon, but you’ll know you’ve done something really special for so many people in St. Lucie County.
The feast is held in the empty lot on Orange Avenue and North 9th Street in Fort Pierce.
And if you can help financially, please visit this donation page. Your gift will be used to buy food for the event.
